اداره مهاجرت از امروز چهارشنبه دوم ژانویه 2013 با اعلام فهرست مشاغل و جزییات مدارک مورد نیاز، پذیرش پرونده‌های مربوط به نیروهای فنی-حرفه‌ای Federal Skilled Trades Program را رسما آغاز کرد. بر این اساس اداره مهاجرت کانادا در سال 2013

        جمعا 3000 پرونده را در این قالب در مجموعه همه رشته‌های اعلام شده پذیرش می‌کند؛
  
        جمعا 43 رشته شغلی اعلام شده‌اند که 17 رشته دارای سقف محدودیت هستند و 26 رشته محدودیتی ندارند. سقف محدودیت برای 17 رشته، 100 پرونده است. اسامی این رشته‌ها در پایان این مطلب قید شده. شما می‌توانید آنها را در اینجا هم ببینید؛
 
        ادعای وزیر این است که به این پرونده ظرف 12 ماه رسیدگی خواهد شد؛

        برای سطح آمادگی مهارت‌های زبانی، وضعیت باز هم آسان‌تر شده است. متقاضیان باید در یکی از زبان‌های رسمی کانادا (انگلیسی یا فرانسه) برای مهارت‌های گویش و شنیداری speaking and listening حداقل در سطح 5 بنچمارک کانادا CLB5 و برای مهارت‌های خواندن و نوشتن reading and writingحداقل 4 در متد ارزیابی کانادا CLB4 داشته باشند (هر دوی این اعداد در مقیاس ازمون آیلتس زیر 5 هستند)؛
 
        متقاضیان باید یک نامه از کارفرمای کانادایی و یا یکcertificate of qualification (معادل گواهی‌نامه صنفی نشان دهنده آمادگی برای آن شغل) از یکی از استان‌ها یا قلمروهای کانادا داشته باشند؛
 
        متقاضیان باید در 5 سال گذشته، حداقل دو سال سابقه کار در آن رشته را داشته باشند و واجد شرایط مندرج در رشته مربوطه بر اساسNOC کانادا باشند؛

    فهرست 43 رشته اعلام شده در برنامه فنی-حرفه‌ای‌ها در سال 2013. از مشاغل گروه A در هر رشته تنها 100 پرونده پذیرفته خواهد شد. محدودیتی در مورد مشاغل گروه   نیست اما در مجموع تنها 3000 پرونده پذیرش خواهد شد.
